Opportunities for Service

There are many opportunities for service to further the Lord's kingdom here on earth. Here are a few.

-Sound Room (high school or older, training required, contact Susan Schultz drdoug@mchsi.com or 217.784.8833)

-Kid's Connection (provided during 8:45 service for ages 3 through 1st grade (Listen, Pray and Play)helpers are needed: contact Sarah Chase or volunteer at office.

-Gathering Time - serve and/or provide snacks for children before Sunday School in Fellowship Hall (lower level) contact Michelle Kietzman

-Kindergarten/1st grade is in need of an assistant teacher from March through May due to a maternity leave. This position is working with Rhonda Eckerty as lead teacher and alternates every other month. Contact Judy Eckhoff at 217-784-4387 or email and jjeckhoff@att.net

-Projector (middle school or older, training required)

-Head usher (adult, training required)

-Usher (train on the job)

-Acolyte (3^rd – 5^th grade)

-Liturgist (volunteer at office)

-Nursery Helper (volunteer at office)

-Children’s Church helper (volunteer at office)

-Gathering Time Help at Children's Church

-Preparing Communion (volunteer at office or contact Megan Whitehouse)
