Children's Ministries

Children are most welcome at Gibson City United Methodist Church! We are pleased to offer many programs and activities for our young ones. This section of our church's website seeks to provide an overview of those activities. Please use the menu at the left side of your screen to navigate options.

Our church is proud to subscribe to the "Safe Sanctuary" philosophy. As such, we are currently implementing background checks for all staff and volunteers who work with children and youth. Background checks will be done on an annual basis. For more information, please contact the church office or the Children's Ministries Committee.

The Children's Ministries Committee (CMC) has the responsibility of planning and overseeing the programming for children ages birth through eighth grades. The CMC meets on the 3rd Monday of each month in the Red Room. (Main level, across from Sanctuary north entrance.

All members of our church family are welcome to join the Children's Ministries Committee and/or attend it's meetings.
